Dear Family,
First and foremost I would like to thank you for taking your time to knowing me through this letter. I am very excited to know you as well but first, let me introduce myself. I am Eva Jane , 28 years old, single and a Filipina. I am a loving daughter to my mother, Evangeline and my father, Lemuel. I am also a caring sister to my only sibling, Carl Nikko. I grew up in a Christian family fostered with love and faith in God.
I'd like to describe myself as a fun-loving, outgoing, honest and reliable person. Being active in the ministry of our church, I was trained to nurture our young children about God's word through reading them Bible Stories, teaching them Christian action songs and encouraging them to memorize at least one Bible verse every Sunday. I tried to make learning God's word more enjoyable for them through trying out different activities like games, drawing and role playing. This lasted before I went to college. Indeed, it was one of the experiences that I dearly missed as I continued my journey in college because it was really fun to have kids around.
Like me, my family also love children. In fact, my parents organized an annual outreach activity to feed malnourished children in our church. With this kind of dedication, I was inspired to strive harder in my job in order to be able to help my parents and our church financially in sustaining this activity.
The reason why I want to be an au pair is that I want to know other culture's way of life. I also want to learn how you nurture and educate your children, so that I will be able to adapt your good values and practice it in our country someday.
If given the chance, I know that this kind of experience will not just mold me intellectually but holistically as well. I hope we can have a good relationship working and living together as a family.
