Au pair Nikkie in Philippines
Dear host-family,

I am living in an apartment complex where almost of the tenants are my relatives so I usually look after my younger cousins whenever their parents are not around. Since they are already in primary school up to senior high school (ages 6 to 17 years old), I just make sure that they eat, take a bath, have a clean uniform, and have their allowances for transportation and snacks. When my 6-year old cousin is still here, I focus on her and helped her with her meals, gave her a bath, tyed her hair,
up, and accompanied her to school. Also, for the span of 4 years, I lived with 3 different sets of relatives so I am used to living with other people. This is because my parents are separated and I am in my mother's side of the family since she's working overseas as a domestic helper, and my father's are in the province.

I am also into sports, I used to do judo when I was still studying in college and right now, I'm doing badminton at least once or twice a week. I also love zumba, special mention: Girl in the Mirror, and I know how to ride a bicycle and how to swim although I'm not that good at it. Maybe we can allocate a day or two in a month for "Active Day" where we can bond over sports or zumba? I am also up for just walking around, picnic, site seeing, shopping for groceries, gardening if there is a garden, even volunteering.
I love trying new things so I can be what you call "kaladkarin" in the Philippines. It is what we call people who are easy to invite to bondings and events.

I want to be an AU Pair because I want to travel, experience a new culture which I believe is very different from my own, improve my English, and learn a new language.

This program also provides the easiest way to travel abroad, specifically in Europe, and the conditions for this such as helping with childcare and the household chores are normal human things to do and experience.
