My name is Naomi. I’m a 24 years old girl from Indonesia.
With this letter, I’m going to explain several things about me as your considerations.
1. This will be my first time to become Au Pair. Even though I’ve never been an Au Pair before, I do have experiences in taking care of a child age 3 months until 3 years, which is my niece. I usually take care of her, play with her, feed her and change her diapers. Therefore, I can say that I’m capable of taking care of children.
2. I’m currently working remotely. My current job is a freelance job, so it does not take much of my time. I can assure you that my job will not disturb my activities as an Au Pair. I will still prioritize to look after your children and do the house works. You do not need to worry as I can be flexible anytime.
3. I wanted to inform you in advance that I cannot afford flight ticket. As I just started working for a year, I still have not enough savings to pay for the ticket. Therefore, I hope the host family would like to cover/split the travel cost. As for Visa, I can take care of it by myself.
4. For Dutch family, good news! I’ve been to Zwolle, Netherlands for 3 months in Summer 2019. It was one of the best times of my life. I went to visit my sister, her Dutch husband and their daughter who are currently living there. If any of Dutch family who is interested in me and would like to have recommendations, you could talk to my Dutch brother-in-law! And also, I have a big family from my mother’s side living in Netherlands. Practically, I am quite familiar with the Netherlands. I just cannot speak Dutch.
If you do not mind with all the things I explained above, I would really love to become your Au Pair. You can always ask me anything! :)
